Interporto Rivers Venezia covers a private area of approximately 240,000 m2.

The quay
The terminal quay under state concession is located in the West Channel of Porto Marghera and extends for a length of approximately 500 metres with a current draught of 10 metres in mid-channel.
Self-propelled harbour cranes
Four Liebherr multipurpose 80/100/130 tonne (safe working load) self-propelled harbour cranes ensure fast and reliable loading and unloading of ships.
Interporto Rivers resources
Storage
Interporto Rivers Venezia is equipped with warehouses certified for the storage of cereals for human and livestock food use (feed & food), as well as areas authorised for the storage of non-hazardous waste (scrap metal, coal fly ash, glass, etc.).
Large yards for the storage of bulk and packaged goods and 16,000 m2 of covered warehouse space ideal for urban logistics complete the terminal’s infrastructure stock.
Mechanised lines
Mechanised lines by means of conveyor belts connect the quay to silos and vertical warehouses, increasing the turnaround of ships.

The railway junction
Interporto Rivers Venezia has an internal railway junction with a length of approximately 5 km, connected to the nearby Venezia Mestre station.
Silos
The terminal also has four silos with a capacity of 14,000 m3 each and one silo with a capacity of 7,500 m3, fed directly by conveyor belt or ship-to-shore pipe-line, offering an aggregate capacity of approximately 63,500 m3 for dry bulk storage.
Industrial activities within the interport
Thanks to the logistical synergies created at the terminal, in-house industrial activities managed in full functional autonomy were developed, such as the cement production process for distribution throughout the country.
